01The Brief

How it came together.

A small room can do as much for a home as a large one. The owners had renovated the rest of the apartment a year earlier and wanted the powder room to match the level of finish — but the existing layout left no room for the geometry they wanted.

We rerouted the supply and drain through a sliver of the adjacent closet, gained 14 inches of width, and rebuilt the room around a single book-matched Calacatta wall. The vanity is solid walnut, floated off the wall with concealed steel brackets, and houses an integrated stone basin fabricated by the same yard that did the wall.

Four weeks on site, a single tradesperson at a time, careful condo-corridor protection. The neighbours never knew.
